What name do you like to write under? Karyn Chabot
Where do you call home? Newport, RI
What genre(s) do you write? Somewhere between fiction and non-fiction. I was drawn to study astrology when I was 12 and found my first astrology book. It appeared to have secret truths that would help me understand the meaning of life and why I was here. It provided a map towards self-discovery and filled in the blanks of Catholicism.
What genre(s) were you drawn to when you were younger? Was there a reason that genre(s) appealed to you the most? Astrology, romance and stories of other lands and cultures so I could widen my perspectives on life.
What were some of your favorite books growing up? Why? Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean Auel & Sun Signs by Linda Goodman. Jean's book taught about herbal medicine with a compelling story of a different culture during the ice age based on many facts. I have my masters in Ayurvedic Medicine and have always been drawn to earth medicine. Linda's books magnetized me because I felt the content was familiar as if I had studied it in another lifetime. She offered insights into the human condition I was never exposed to because my family was strictly Catholic and viewed astrology as against the church. It was the forbidden fruit for me.
What are some of your favorite books today? The Alchemist, The Dove in the Stone, Serpent of Light, Shaman-Healer-Sage, Becoming Supernatural.
What inspired you to become a writer? I am a teacher at heart and wanted to share what I have learned. It's cathartic for me, a way to release and express myself creatively.
The Secret 52 Star Codes of Creation: Book 1: The Stellar Guidebook
The Heart’s suit represents the beginning of the 52 Star Code System, just as Spring represents the beginning of new life and babies represent the first stage of human existence. The science of cardology and cartomancy reveals the secret codes imprinted within the mathematics of your birthday using a deck of cards. Karyn’s book series revolutionizes the old ways of understanding the deck of destiny cards and unveils the hidden language, stories, and star codes assigned to each of the fifty-two cards by highly evolved Star Beings eons ago. Every birthday in the calendar year belongs to a number within the deck. What is your Star Code? Discover the numerical codes for identifying the people in your life who bless, heal, or stress you. Understand why your love relationships and family dynamics have been challenging. Knowledge is power. Know why you are here and know ahead. Everything is math and has a measurable vibration. Beyond all ideas of good and evil, right or wrong, there is a garden. This book will lead you there.

Tell us a little about how “The Secret 52 Star Codes of Creation: Book 1: The Stellar Guidebook” came to be. Did it start with an image, a voice, a concept, a dilemma or something else? It started with my intense thirst to understand why I was single for so long and why I continued to feel blindsided as compared to other people. I knew I was different and I needed to understand why and how I could develop tools and wisdom to navigate my life with more grace so I could achieve happiness and help others in that happiness. After many years of studying the language of the stars, I understood that I chose a tough life compared to others, but it was so that I could become enlightened more quickly and help others see the light. My astrology chart is very afflicted compared to others, but I have learned that "light comes through the wound." I understand that I chose my life and wrote my own blueprint intentionally to experience adversities and learn how to make lemonade out of lemons and rise.
Which scene, character or plotline changed the most from first draft to published book? In January 2024, I discovered 8 Stargates inside the Earth Template. No one I know who is a master in the 52 Star Code System, aka Cardology or Destiny Cards, has ever noticed these Stargates. I was in the middle of writing my book series and decided to add this discovery to the series, even though I needed to understand the meanings of these Stargates. I understand them a bit more now, but I discovered a 9th Stargate about 5 months later. I revised the book and added the update to reflect the 9th.
Which character was the most challenging to create. Why? I don't have any characters because this mainly an educational book on self-discovery with many case studies and related stories.
What do you like best about being a writer? Writing gives me a chance to organize my monkey-mind and all it's crazy thoughts. It brings coherence to my emotional body and allows me to express parts of myself I never knew existed. It helps me feel connected to the world, knowing someone might benefit from my words..
If you could collaborate with any author past or present, who would it be? What would the title of the book be? (If possible) - Give us a one sentence blurb. Dr. Joe Dispenza. Cosmic Archetypal Empowerment Everyday. Discover your archetypal blueprint, remember who you are, why you came and how to step into the best version of you with a smile.
