The Association of Rhode Island Authors (ARIA) is an IRS-recognized, 501(c)3 non-profit organization of local, published writers of both fiction and non-fiction committed to raising awareness of the outstanding written works crafted by writers in Rhode Island and in nearby communities.
ARIA has become the definitive referral center for bookstores, libraries, and readers seeking information about and presentations from Rhode Island authors and their books. ARIA authors are available for speaking engagements, book signings, readings, lectures, workshops, and other activities that promote local writers and writing.
Among its activities, ARIA provides free educational presentations to both its members and the public, represents the state at art and literary festivals throughout the region, and mentors young writers on the publishing process.
Membership in ARIA is open to any local author who may be traditionally published, self-published or indie-published in any paper or electronic format. To join the organization and be included in its membership activities, visit its website at www.RIAuthors.org or contact authors@RIauthors.org.
All proceeds from the sale of this anthology will be used to support the mission of the Association of Rhode Island Authors.
